A Few Examples of Jetting Machines Built for Customers in 2023
We're already at the halfway point of 2023 in another busy year at Andy Guest. The launch of the new 5-Series jetter at the start of the year has proved a great success, with new machines now out in the field across the UK and Ireland. The 3-Series petrol jetter continues to prove popular with customers and we've also been building a range of bespoke and stack jetters for firms looking to optimise vehicle space. Below we've picked out a few of those projects and we're proud to have helped supply new and old customers with equipment.
First 5-Series in Ireland
Easy Flow Solutions is based in Kilkenny City and operates throughout South East Ireland providing 24/7 call-out drainage services. Company Director Trevor Coady had previously owned an older AG diesel machine and this played a part in his decision to buy a new 5-Series.
Trevor says he has been impressed by the performance and features of the new machine: "I’m very pleased with the performance and it’s more efficient than my previous machine. It seems to use less water despite the higher flow rate and certainly uses less fuel. It’s also a lot quieter and I love the remote control unit.”
Supplying Auger with a Compact 1-Series Jetter
Auger is an independent drainage specialist serving the insurance industry. We’ve worked with Auger for over 20 years, providing equipment, remote jetter servicing and training. Back in May, we supplied them with an additional 1-Series jetter.
The firm has been using 1-Series jetters since 2018 and provided this feedback:
“The equipment is 150kgs lighter than the previous units and that is bringing efficiencies. The feedback from engineers is really positive, and the smaller size means they are able to fit more drainage gear in their vans.”
3-Series Units Bound for the Maldives
These 3-Series jetters were shipped to the Maldives back in February ready to be installed in vehicles for use across the nation's many sunshine islands! The four jetters were supplied to State Electric Company “STELCO” the Country's national electricity supplier.
The 3-Series jetters arrived in the Maldives in May and are currently being fitted in vehicles to assist Stelco with drainage issues encountered as part of the wide range of works they carry out.
New Petrol Jetter added to the MetroRod South Yorkshire Fleet
We supplied and installed another 3-Series for Metro Rod South Yorkshire, a long-standing customer who has been using AG equipment for many years!
Doncaster-based Metro Rod (South Yorkshire) operates a team of 15 civils, drainage and pump engineers and a fleet of more than 12 vehicles. The new 3-Series jetter is one of several AG machines used by the company for planned and reactive drainage maintenance and repair contracts.
Also good to see our ordinarily camera-shy AG Operations Manager Brett Moor handing over the new equipment.
Multipurpose Stack Jetter for Enviro-Clean
Our Scottish distributor ScotJet recently installed this a 3-Series stack system for Glasgow-based Enviro-Clean. The 3-Series Stack is ideal for contractors carrying out a wide range of drainage tasks as the compact unit frees up space in the vehicle for additional equipment.
Enviro-Clean offers specialist waste management and industrial services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers across the UK. The firm employs over 130 staff and operates a fleet of 90+ vehicles. Core to the company ethos is maintaining up-to-date equipment to maintain its position at the top of its field. We wish them well with the new stack system.
Custom 5-Series for FreeFlow Drainage
A recent installation of a 5-Series jetter for Shrewsbury-based Freeflow Drainage Ltd included a fast-fill valve, rather than a filling hose reel, for the rapid filling of the 1000lt tank directly from a hydrant.
Freeflow Drainage offers drainage services throughout the UK and was one of our first customers to get their hands on the new 5-Series!
Bespoke Jetter for a European Distributor
Earlier this month we shipped this custom 3-Series Stack Jetter to our distributor, Arte, in the Czech Republic. Designed to custom fit a small vehicle the unit includes a tank inlet valve rather than a filling reel, and a smaller 350 lt water tank. It was colour-coated to match the client’s brand and was designed to help maximise space in a smaller commercial vehicle.
