The 3-Series petrol van-pack jetter strikes the perfect balance of performance and functionality within a lightweight and compact frame. Utilising a 37HP petrol engine, this powerful emissions-compliant machine is lighter, quieter and more cost-effective than traditional diesel-driven machines with similar characteristics. Delivering an industry-standard 3000psi @12gpm performance, the 3-Series is suitable for use in pipelines with a diameter of up to 300mm and is the ideal solution for contractors operating in low emissions areas.

Emissions-compliant water jetting machine

Powered by a 37HP Briggs and Stratton air-cooled EFi V-Twin petrol engine with a triplex high-pressure pump, the 3-Series meets all the requirements for operation on city streets and in low emissions zones. Despite scepticism about petrol engines running hotter than diesel-driven machines, the 3-Series dissipates residual heat quickly. The machine’s EFi engine has an improved torque curve to maximise performance and efficiency, while the engine management system offers improved diagnostic capabilities and allows for engine remapping if required.

Operation-ready jetting unit

The 3-Series is supplied as a complete operation-ready package, with 90 metres of Andy Guest’s ½” single-wire jetting hose, two standard nozzles, a 3m or 5m safety leader hose and lightweight engine and pump cover available as standard with the machine. Operators can opt for an increased water tank capacity of up to 800 litres, with a wide range of compatible accessories, including lance attachments, specialist nozzle kits and surface cleaning equipment also available as optional extras.

We’ve got experienced jetting men using the new kit and all the reports are excellent. For the size of the jetters, the output is very impressive and our engineers have told me they perform better than diesel machines with similar capacities.

Established less than a decade ago, ARM Pipetek has expanded rapidly to become a growing force in the North East. Winning a five-year contract with Northumbrian Water prompted the Durham-based company to invest in a fleet of six jetting vans fitted with 3-Series petrol jetters, which were supplied by sales agents N1 Jetting Solutions and handed over in July 2021.

The jetter’s lightweight and compact frame was one of the deciding factors: “The new jetters are smaller and lighter than diesel, which also means we were able to install 600-litre water tanks and be within the 1100kg load limited for a 3.5t van. We’ve got experienced jetting men using the new kit and all the reports are excellent. For the size of the jetters, the output is very impressive and our engineers have told me they perform better than diesel machines with similar capacities.”

Single-person jetting Operations

Single-person operation is made easy via a unique push-button electronic control panel with an electric throttle. Operators can also upgrade to an optional 5-Channel radio remote control or foot pedal due to the plug-and-play characteristics of the unit. Andy Guest's new radio remote control is supplied as a complete package with a charger, external antenna, transmitter and receiver unit and offers an increased reception range to ensure the safety of contractors in all situations.

Stack drain jetting systems

The 3-Series is also available as a compact and lightweight stack system. Developed for multipurpose CCTV/lining vehicles and the smallest commercial vans, this system offers the same 3000psi @12gpm performance at less than half the width of a traditional van-pack machine to maximise vehicle access, space and payload. The 3-Series stack has a dry weight of 300kg and features a 400-litre (88 gallon) water tank that can be mounted separately for improved weight distribution.

Bespoke jetter configurations

Our non-standard configuration and bespoke jetting machines are continuing to prove a popular choice with customers. The 3-Series can be supplied as a space-saving stack and split system or with a range of upgrades including noise-reducing acoustic covers, increased water tank capacity and high-pressure pump upgrades. We also offer solutions to further maximise vehicle payload, including reconfigured mountings and re-framing using lightweight steel or aluminium.
