Series 1 vs Series 1+: Choosing the Right Jetter for Your Drainage Work

The Series 1 is built around simplicity, reliability and everyday productivity. Delivering 2200 PSI @ 10 GPM, it provides the performance needed for routine domestic and light commercial drain cleaning while maintaining a lightweight, compact footprint.

For contractors starting out, expanding their fleet, or looking for a straightforward and dependable jetting solution, the Series 1 remains a popular choice.

The Series 1+ takes the same compact philosophy and adds greater flexibility. Powered by a larger Honda 24hp engine, it offers two selectable performance modes, allowing operators to choose between higher pressure or increased flow depending on the application. The addition of features such as an electric hose reel, RioPulse pulsator and advanced eControl system gives contractors more control when tackling a wider range of drainage challenges.

While the Series 1 is suited to pipe sizes up to 250mm, the Series 1+ extends capability to pipes up to 300mm, making it a strong option for contractors who regularly encounter larger diameter drains or more demanding cleaning requirements.

Neither machine is the “better” choice. The right option depends on the type of work you undertake. If you want a compact, cost-effective jetter that delivers reliable daily performance, the Series 1 is an excellent fit. If you need additional power, enhanced operator features and greater versatility, the Series 1+ offers those benefits while retaining a compact van-pack design.
