Andy Guest Launch New Nozzle Range

Tarantula

Andy Guest Jetters has secured exclusive UK retail rights for Roberto Bruna nozzles, adding to its range of high-pressure jetting nozzles available online and through the network of UK distributors.

The new range includes ten fixed, rotating and specialist drain-jetting nozzles selected for everyday use and specific tasks, such as those performed by the Tarantula and Wipe-Catcher models.

The Tarantula is a cost-effective multi-purpose rotating nozzle designed for the toughest jobs, such as the removal of hard deposits, scale, fats and small roots. Its slow speed rotation allows for thorough cleaning without causing damage to the pipe-wall.

The Wipe-Catcher is a unique product designed to cut through and collect a mass of wet wipes in the drain. It is supplied with recyclable and replaceable plastic parts that are used to catch and remove wet wipes.

Spanish manufacturer Roberto Bruna supplies 90% of drainage contractors based on the Iberian Penisula and has been expanding its operations across Europe in recent years. Newton Merten of Roberto Bruna’s International Sales Department, says the company is excited about the new relationship: “Andy Guest is one of the biggest drainage equipment manufacturers in the UK and we’re looking forward to growing our presence in the market. We manufacture the nozzles using the best quality materials so they have a long working life. We also know they compare favourably on price for this quality of nozzle.”

The nozzles have only been available in the UK for the last couple of years, but during that time Andy Guest has been testing the range on their machines and with selected customers.

Jon Woods, UK Sales Manager for Andy Guest, says they have been impressed with the quality and performance of the range. “There were a few factors in the decision to go with Roberto Bruna nozzles,” he explains. “They work well with our machines, there’s a good range to choose from and they are very competitively priced, offering excellent value for money.”

“The fact that the nozzles are tried, tested and have a good reputation was also a big factor. We’ve had a lot of positive feedback from customers that have used them.”

Jon acknowledges that Covid-19 is causing considerable business disruption for operators and says the business is doing what it can to support essential services: “There’s an ongoing demand for equipment, parts and accessories and we’re trying to help businesses in these difficult times. Through our finance partners, we’ve arranged special finance rates to make it easier for customers to get the business-critical equipment they need. New low-start finance options include low initial payments, zero deposits, VAT deferments and flexible ongoing payments. We hope this will help.”
