New Diesel Jetter Added to Andy Guest’s Popular Van-pack Range

2-Series High-Pressure Drain Jetting Machine

Andy Guest Jetters is delighted to announce the launch of the all-new 2-Series high-performance diesel jetter. Lighter, more compact, and quieter than its predecessors, the feature-rich van-pack machine has been designed for daily use and complies with the latest Stage V emissions regulations.

Available in Q1 of 2022, the new 2-Series is powered by a Kubota engine, operating a triplex plunger pump that delivers 3000psi@9gpm performance for cleaning and unblocking sewers and drains up to 250mm.

Jon Woods, Sales Manager at Andy Guest, says the new machine is the first of two new diesel jetters that will be launched in the early part of 2022: “The new Stage V emissions regulations for diesel engines has accelerated the need to develop new jetters to replace our popular pre-stage V machines. As such, our engineers have used it as an opportunity to focus on the key elements of performance, weight, size and durability.”

“For the 2-Series, we’ve developed a lightweight and compact frame arrangement that means it can be fitted in most small commercial vehicles, whilst allowing space to include tools and ancillary equipment for multipurpose and single-resolution work. The overall weight of the unit is further reduced by the use of a heat exchanger instead of a traditional radiator.”

Durable, Cleaner and Quieter Power

The new-specification 2-Series is powered by a Kubota D902 power unit, a naturally aspirated, multi-cylinder, water-cooled diesel engine that delivers the highest output among the Kubota Super Mini Series engines. By expanding the bore and stroke, Kubota has increased engine displacement while maintaining its compact size to deliver both superior endurance and reliable engine performance.

The engine also utilises Kubota’s improved  E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System), to achieve lower particulate matter (PM) levels for cleaner power. The system also decreases vibrations transmitted from the valve area to provide enhanced noise reduction.

Jon Woods says the new 2-Series compares favourably to its predecessor: “In transitioning to Stage V equipment, we’ve reduced weight, size and noise whilst maintaining the level of performance and reliability our customers know and trust.”

“The new 2-Series uses best-in-class engines, pumps and parts and we’ve included components such as an electronic control panel and hydraulic hose reel as standard. These are features not normally included in similar specification machines at this price point. We think this is a fantastic small machine for operators who still prefer diesel jetters.”

In 2022, Andy Guest will also launch the 5-Series jetter, powered by a Yanmar 4TNV88C - 48HP (35kW) 4-cylinder common rail, direct-injection diesel engine. Producing 3000psi@16gpm, the new machine will replace the popular 4-Series as the most powerful van-pack jetter in the AG range.
