Introducing Brett Moor: Operations Manager

Brett-Moor

Our new Operations Manager, Brett Moor, joined Andy Guest Jetters in the late Summer and has spent his first few months getting to know the day-to-day operations. He describes this initial period as “an enjoyable challenge”.

“It’s quite different to my previous role in the automotive sector,” he explains. “At Andy Guest we do a bit of everything, including manufacturing, servicing and van conversions and that has been a different but enjoyable challenge.”

“I’ve had to ask a lot of questions, but the staff have been great. I think the questions are starting to get a bit less now that I’m getting to know the business.”

Brett brings extensive experience to the new role having worked in the engineering sector for over 30 years. He joins Andy Guest having previously been employed as Works Manager and Director at Magnum Car Panels in Rochdale, a firm specialising in replacement panels for classic cars.

Brett is an experienced workshop manager, skilled in AutoCAD, negotiation, design and contract management. He has an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Southport Technical College and is a Member of The Institute of Engineering and Technology, a membership he says he was very proud to be nominated for by a work associate.

Outside of work, Brett has a passion for racing bikes and is an ACU-certified coach in motorcycle sports. He has also occupied various voluntary positions with the Preston & District Motorcycle Club, including Chairman, Promoter and Clerk of the Course at the Three Sisters Race Circuit near Wigan.

Andy Guest Jetters is delighted to have brought in someone with Brett’s experience to oversee the day-to-day running of the business. And his passion for racing bikes has gone down well with the other petrolheads in the organisation.
